The photo Sunrise in the Beartooth Wilderness was taken in early spring. It was taken on an isolated slope next to a small spring that only runs during snow runoff. Alone with a red Indian Paint Brush, violet flowers lined the small spring of water. The sun was coming up, adding streaks of light to the image. This makes for a stunning photo of spring in the high country.
