"The Bison rut in the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone Park, Wyoming, takes place towards the end of July. During this time, the bulls compete for dominance and mating rights. They bellow loudly to make their presence known and sometimes even rip up nearby sagebrush to show off their strength. It's quite a sight to see!"
